Aloha Cousins,
We are back from Thanksgiving break. We hope you had great food on Thanksgiving. Also the Patriots won by five but it was close.
This week in math we are learning  multiplying decimal numbers with area models. Also rounding to see if our answer is reasonable.
In social studies we are finishing up projects about explorers like Juan Ponce de leon, Henry Hudson, John Cabot, and Christopher Columbus. Some groups are finished and some groups are close to finishing. We are probably going to present our projects by the end of this week.
In science we heard that “our butterflies have died except for one.” Also in science we are learning about leaf classification and about what type of leaf they are like pinnate, palmate, and parallel. Also if there fuzzy, scalloped, looped, or smooth.  We are almost done with our plant observations.
In activity period some people go to strings, chorus, Math Olympiad, Reading, math plus, and band. Some people stay here to do blog like Connor and Brady, some people finish their book club or their literacy letter, but some people just read too.

In the end of the day we do the same stuff in activity period but sometimes we work on our narrative writing, do our spelling groups.  After all of that we read Stella By Starlight!

Have a good day,
Brady and Connor
