A Christmas Carol
We went to see the A Christmas Carol. It was really good. The play was about two hours long. A Christmas Carol is about a man named Ebenezer Scrooge who in very rich but very mean. He doesn't care about anyone but himself. Around Christmas, everyone is merry and cheerful and happy, except Scrooge. One night the ghost of his business partner Jacob Marley came to his house to warn him that if continued to a mean person, he would reach a bad fate. Three other ghosts came after that. The first ghost was the ghost of Christmas past. She brought him back to Christmases that had past. The next ghost brought him to the Christmas present. He went to his clerk’s house. His clerk was poor because Scrooge didn't pay him enough to support his family. Even though he is poor, he and his family are happy. Scrooge also sees his nephew who invited him to Christmas dinner. He sees  his nephew having a good time with his wife. Scrooge sees how his  nephew thinks of him, as an animal. The third host is a figure under a hood and doesn't talk. He brings him to a graveyard and shows him a grave with his name on it. Scrooge doesn't want to die, so from then on, he is a better person. He even gives his clerk a raise.
The actor did a nice job and the set looked really cool.
Have a nice weekend! Happy holidays,
from Marin and Abby!
