Wednesday 3/15/17

     Aloha parents! You might be wondering why we're starting off with Wednesday  and not Monday, but that is because there was a teacher meeting on Monday, and Tuesday it was a snow day. To start off our day we unpacked our stuff from our backpacks and ate snack since it was a 2 hour delay today because of the snow of yesterday, and because we would not have math or science since it was a really short day. Then we did morning meeting and for a greeting we did a handshake, and then for an activity we played wee-wah-woo. Afterwards, we went to our special and today our special was music with our music teacher, Mr. T. Next, it was activity period where everyone goes to their school activities which could be band, chorus, tech squad, and more. When activity period was over, it was recess but this time we had indoor recess because it was really cold and slippery outside. And then, of course we had lunch which is always something good to eat. Secondly, we had ELA where we worked on our disaster projects that we were supposed to get done before February break, but not everyone was done with their final drafts by then. And then lastly, we had read aloud for about 10 minutes and when the bell rang, we put up our chairs to go to our own bus lines.

Thursday 3/16/17

     Hello there again! Today was a normal school day since there was no delay today because of the snow, nut that doesn't mean we didn't have as much fun as yesterday. Today we started off by unpacking like we do on any other school day, and then we went to the rug to do greeting. For greeting today, we did a pinky greeting, and then for an activity we played quick questions. Afterwards, we had to get our materials to go to math with Mrs. O, and science with Mrs, P. Next we had to go to our special and today our special was art. In art today we did clay which is everybody's favorite thing to do in art as far as I know. Then, it was activity period and then after that, we had recess. Today we had indoor recess like yesterday since it was still very slippery and dangerous outside for everyone, and I'm guessing because the teachers don't want us to slip. After that, we had ELA and in ELA today we still had to work on our disaster projects and some people even had to finish their final drafts, and then work on piktocharts and scripts. Lastly, we packed up, went to the rug to read The Green Glass House for read aloud. When the bell rang, we went to our seats to get ready to go to bus lines in the gym. And the finally went to our bus lines when the 5th grade bell rang.

Friday 3/17/17

Hi! To day was a normal day of the week, and today is Friday so we have no homework! Today in ELA we did the green screens for our disaster projects. Almost all the groups finished, but we have a couple more to go. In math we are working on converting fractions to whole numbers. Today we had social studies and math we had a sub. In math we had a quiz and then got to play prodigy. In social studies, we watched a video about the history of New England like the founder and reason for founding. We also took notes on the video. Today in gym we played team handball. Friday was fun for B026.
