Monday 2/6/17

          Monday was an excellent day. First, we had to get our materials ready for math and science. Then, for morning meeting we just did a normal handshake to greet our classmates. Then In math we started off by going over the homework with Mrs O. Then we had to finish our packet that we had started by last Friday. Once we have finished the packet we had to do zearn which is a website. After that, we ate snack and then gathered our materials to go to science with Mrs. P. This time in science we didn't do a lab but instead we had 3 people from our class present their special scientists projects which were very interesting. Then Mrs. P. picked 2 more people to be the new special scientists and then after that we had to answer some questions on explain everything, which is an app, and we had to answer questions about what we have learned so far about this unit. And that was the end of science class. After that, we had gym class with Mr. Mumby. In gym today we played a game called Danger Island which is a cooperation game. Then we had a split recess where we could choose whether to go indoors or outdoors and then we all had lunch. Then, we had ELA where we did book clubs with our groups, spelling groups, and then read aloud. When we finished doing read aloud we had to pack up and get ready for the end of the day to go home.

Tuesday 2/7/17

           Tuesday was a pretty successful day for everyone. We started off with a regular morning meeting. Except we didn't do a greeting or an activity because there were people that had to do their shares and plus Ms. S introduced some new books to us so that we could have more interesting books to read. Then we had to get ready for math which was fairly similar to yesterday. But instead of science, we had social studies and in social studies, we had to work on our study guides to look on for then test that we were going to do. Then we had special and in special we had library. In library we had to think of close and open questions. After library, we had activity period where we all go to our own activities such as chorus, band, and more. About 45 minutes later, we had recess. Today we had indoor recess for everybody since it was rainy and snowy outside. In ELA we did reading assessments. When we were done with those, we all went to the carpet for read aloud. Lastly, we had to get our things ready on our desks to get ready to pack up and then we all went to our bus lines.

    Wednesday 2/8/1

Wednesday was a really fun day. First we did morning meeting, for greeting we did handshake and for the activity we did quick questions. Then, we had to go to math, but instead of an hour of math we only had 30 minutes of math since we had to go to the Museum of Science presentation. After about an hour of being in the auditorium, we had to go back to our classes and have science since we missed science because of the Museum of Science. Next, we had special, and for special today we had music. After music we had activity period and the. It was time for recess and lunch. Today was a split recess because it wasn't that cold outside. Then we had ELA and in ELA we did our disaster projects that we have to finish before February vacation. Lastly, we did read aloud and the book that we are reading for read aloud is called Green Glass House. Then we had to pack up, do our end of day jobs and go to our bus lines to go home.

Friday 2/10/17

Today we had a team morning meeting. A student got to run the morning meeting. She made a slide about Valentine’s Day. Then, Mr. Gildea showed us a music video about Valentine’s Day which was very funny. We all laughed because of the hilarious lyrics. After team meeting, we had rush to our own classrooms to get our materials to go to our morning classes. Today we had math and social studies. In math we went over the homework and worked on subtracting and adding fractions. Later, in social studies we watched Liberty’s kids, a show about our history and the learned about the Colonial America. After that we had gym and in gym we are still doing Danger island but today we did it with obstacles. Next we had activity period followed by recess and lunch. And lastly, we had ELA and in ELA we worked on our disaster projects that we have to finish before February break and then we had read aloud and when the bell rang we all went to our bus lines.
